Narrative:

Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche, is one of the founders of Tibetan Buddhism and is revered as the "Second Buddha". His story and origin are full of mystery, a blend of history, legend and religious beliefs.

**Origin and Birth**

The birth of Guru Padmasambhava is full of mythology. It is said that he was not born naturally by his mother, but was born from a five-colored lotus in the lake, symbolizing purity and transcendence. His birthplace is believed to be Ujjain in India (now in Swat, Pakistan). When Guru Padmasambhava was young, he was adopted by King Indrabodhi as a prince, but later he gave up the throne and embarked on the path of spiritual practice at the instruction of Vajrasattva.

**Spreading the Dharma and Entering Tibet**

Guru Padmasambhava spread Buddhism in India, Nepal and other places, and demonstrated extraordinary magical powers. In the 8th century AD, at the invitation of the Tibetan King Trisong Detsen, he went to Tibet with Master Shantarakshita, overcame the resistance of Bon religion, and successfully established the first Buddhist temple in Tibet - Samye Monastery. He also trained a large number of translation talents and translated Buddhist scriptures into Tibetan, enabling Buddhism to spread widely in Tibet.

TEACHING AND INFLUENCE

Guru Padmasambhava founded the Nyingma school (Red Sect), which emphasizes tantric practice and the teachings of Dzogchen. His teachings focus on developing the inner potential of practitioners, and using compassion and wisdom to subdue evil spirits and help all beings achieve liberation. He is usually depicted wearing a Dharma crown and holding a vajra and a skull bowl, symbolizing wisdom and compassion.

### **Prophecy and Terma**

Guru Padmasambhava once predicted the future destiny of Buddhism in Tibet and buried a large number of scriptures and instruments, called "termas", for future disciples to practice. His mantra "Om Ah Hum Benza Guru Pema Siddhi Hum" is widely chanted and has a powerful blessing power.

The story of Guru Padmasambhava is not only the core of Tibetan Buddhism, but also a spiritual symbol that inspires practitioners to pursue wisdom and compassion.
