The Tenfold Self-Mastery, known in Tibetan as Namkha Gyatso, translated into Chinese as 十相自在 (Shí Xiàng Zìzài), encompasses: Self-Mastery of Longevity, Mind, Aspiration, Resources, Karma, Birth, Liberation, Spiritual Power, Dharma, and Wisdom. It's the essence of the Kalachakra Tantra in Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing the seal of Padmasambhava, believed to embody the highest sacred significance and immense mystical power.

Comprising seven Sanskrit syllables and three symbols, it represents a mandala integrating the principal deity and the mandala palace, symbolizing the essence of the three realms and all worldly phenomena. It serves both ornamental and protective purposes, shielding believers from warfare, diseases, famine, and natural disasters like water, fire, and wind.

It brings auspiciousness and harmony to its surroundings, ensuring peaceful dreams, physical and mental well-being, unhindered travels, and fulfillment of desires. Its colors—green, red, white, yellow, rainbow, white, and blue—symbolize respectively wind, fire, water, earth, desires, body, formless aspects, life, and warmth.
