Anyone who hears the sound of this mantra, or sees the words of this mantra, or touches this mantra with his or her body, will eliminate the karma of the three lifetimes and become a Buddha in the future. The merit is particularly great for saving sentient beings from death. Even though sentient beings who have died have fallen into the lower realms, they can still escape and be reborn in the Pure Land. If the sutra is recited 100,000 times sincerely, then at the time of salvation, if it is recited 7 to 108 times, the sentient beings in the six realms will be able to eliminate their sinful obstacles and be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss immediately to see the Buddha and hear the Dharma. This mantra can save all sentient beings and has immeasurable merits.
Hundred-Character Mantra
Baiziming is the king of confession. "Vajra Top Sutra Yoga Manjushri Bodhisattva Offering Ritual" says: "In the past life, all kinds of bad karma were created, and all the sins and obstacles such as the Five Uninterrupted are all destroyed. With the blessing of this hundred-character mantra, all the sins and obstacles are destroyed, and you can obtain the "Shou Leng" after appearing in the body. "Samadhi". If the mind is distracted and recites this mantra several times, maybe seventeen, three-seven or even one hundred and eight times, it will quickly correspond to the samadhi..." This mantra has great power. If the practitioner violates samaya and has improper concepts, or The mistakes made by being depressed and restless can be blessed by reciting this mantra several times, which can make the practitioner possess "high-quality merits", make up for the mistakes before and make gains, and the power will quickly correspond to the samadhi.
"The Tantra of Immaculate Confession" also says: "The Hundred-Character Ming is the essence of the wisdom of all the good things that have passed away. It can purify all the sins of breaking the precepts and discriminating thoughts. It is called the king of all confessions. If you recite one hundred and zero words at once, Eight times, you can make up for all the lost precepts, and you will be liberated from the three evil realms. If any practitioner can swear to recite it, not only this person will be regarded as the eldest son of the three generations of Buddhas and be saved. , and will undoubtedly become the eldest son of all Buddhas after death."
