3pcs. set
The first and third stickers in this set respectively depict side and overhead views of the lotus flower that resides at the heart of the Greatly Compassionate One, Avalokiteshvara. The character at the center of the lotus is the Sanskrit syllable “Hrih” written in Tibetan script. Hrih represents the compassionate mind of Avalokiteshvara, which is as limitless as space and directed toward the benefit of all sentient beings.
The middle sticker depicts the sacred monogram of Buddha Kalachakra, which is comprised of the ten interlocking and stacked syllables of Kalachakra’s short mantra. Commonly known as the ‘tenfold powerful one” (Tibetan: Namchu Wongden), this auspicious monogram is often used to decorate books, architecture, jewelry, and so forth. Written in an Indic script known as Lantsa, the syllables of the mantra are written out as one great super syllable. It is therefore an entirely visual representation of the sound of the mantra. Just the mere sight of this sacred monogram is thought to convey great blessings in difficult times.
The monogram is shown at the center of a five colored dharma wheel turning in the vastness of space and surrounded by auspicious clouds. The five colors of the wheel represent the five Buddha families, the five elements, and the Five Wisdoms.
