Material: Buddha card. White God of Wealth 3D printing
Size: 34 x 24 cm
Narrative:
The White God of Wealth (Chenglong Zhenbala) is one of the gods of wealth in Tibetan Buddhism and has a deep connection with Avalokitesvara. According to legend, the White God of Wealth was created from the tears of Avalokitesvara, with the aim of helping sentient beings get rid of poverty and bestowing wealth and blessings.
**Story and Origin**
The origin of White Jambhala can be traced back to the time of Atisha, the great Indian Buddhist master. According to legend, Master Atisha met a beggar who was on the verge of starvation during his travels, but he was unable to provide him with food immediately. The Venerable, feeling deeply compassionate, prayed to Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, hoping for a way to help the poor. At this time, Guanyin Bodhisattva shed sad tears, and the tear from his left eye transformed into the **Six-Armed Black Protector Dharma Protector**, and the tear from his right eye transformed into the **White God of Wealth**.
White Jambhala made a vow: "**Let me help you save all living beings from poverty!" and bestowed the empowerment and inheritance of the White Jambhala Dharma on Atisha, making him the first ancestor of the human world.
**Symbolism and practice**
- **White body**: Symbolizes the ability to eliminate poverty and filth.
- **Three eyes**: represents compassion for all sentient beings in the three worlds.
- **Holding a treasure stick**: Gather wealth and save the poor.
- **Riding a dragon**: symbolizes the removal of poverty and obstacles.
Practicing the White Jambhala method can increase blessings, eliminate karma, and help practitioners to obtain sufficient wealth. When offering sacrifices to the White God of Wealth, people often use **three whites (milk, cheese, and flour) and three sweets (white sugar, honey, and rock sugar)** to make food to show their piety.
The practice of White Jambhala not only brings blessings in this life, but is also regarded as a special door to the Pure Land of Amitabha and Guanyin. Do you want to know more about the practice or rituals of White Jambhala?
