Narrative:
Vajrapāpali Bodhisattva (Sanskrit: वज्iप णि, romanized: Vajrapāṇi; Tibetan: ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ།, Willy's transliteration: phyag na rdo rje, THL: chak-na dorjé), is also known as the Secret Lord of Vajrapāpali, the Vajra Chief, the Secret Lord of Vajrapani, the Vajrapani Bodhisattva, the Secret Lord, the Secret Vajra, the Vajra Secret Lord Bodhisattva, etc. He holds a vajra in his right hand, which symbolizes the "firm and indestructible bodhicitta".
In Mongolian Buddhism, the Khan is regarded as an incarnation of Vajrapani.
Sanskrit: Vajrapāṇi, is a Sanskrit compound noun, literally meaning Vajra in hand, Vajra in hand. Vajrapani Bodhisattva is one of the Vajrapani gods, namely Vajrapani, and is a Yaksha god in heaven. He accompanied Sakyamuni for a long time and served as a Dharma protector. Mahayana Buddhism believes that he is the incarnation of Bodhisattva. He received many secret teachings from Sakyamuni and passed them on to later generations.
