In Tibetan Buddhism, the **Eight Auspicious Dharma Pagodas** (བརྒྱད་བཀྲ་ཤིས་) are eight instruments that symbolize auspiciousness and perfection, representing the excellence of Buddhism and the perfection of practice. The eight mascots are:

1. **Treasure canopy** (གདུགས་): It symbolizes the protection of the Dharma, which can shield the afflictions and obstacles and enable the practitioner to abide in wisdom.

2. Pisces (ཉ་): represents liberation and freedom, and symbolizes that practitioners can break free from the shackles of reincarnation and achieve ultimate liberation.

3. **Lotus** (མེ་ཏོག་): It symbolizes purity and enlightenment, and represents that although practitioners are in the secular world, they can remain pure and untainted.

4. **Treasure bottle** (བུམ་པ་): It symbolizes the perfection of wisdom and blessings, and represents that practitioners can obtain endless Dharma wealth and blessings.

5. **Dhamma conch** (དུང་): It symbolizes the spread of Buddhism and represents the Buddha’s teachings that resound like the sound of a conch shell, benefiting all living beings.

6. **Auspicious Knot** (བཀྲ་ཤིས་འཁྲུངས་): It symbolizes the infinity of cause and effect and wisdom, and represents the practitioner’s ability to realize the interdependence and perfection of the Dharma Realm.

7. Victory Banner (རྒྱལ་མཚན་): It symbolizes victory and achievement, and represents that practitioners can overcome troubles and attain ultimate wisdom.

8. Dharma Wheel (ཆོས་འཁོར་): It symbolizes the operation of the Dharma and represents that practitioners can continue to make progress and promote the spread of the Dharma.

These auspicious objects are commonly seen in Buddhist arts and rituals such as temples, mandalas, thangkas, and ritual instruments, and are used in rituals such as Buddhist consecration, blessings, and offerings. They are not only spiritual guides for practitioners, but also symbolize the perfection and excellence of Buddhism.
