In Tibetan Buddhism, Guru represents one's master, who is the most important person in our spiritual path, so the name Gurubeads. It is also known as Mother or Parent beads.
This set of Tibetan Turquoise Guru Beads is 12mm and is perfect Gurubeads for 6mm, 8mm and 10mm malas.
Guru Beads is a set of two beads, usually in the shape of a gourd. The bottom part is a round bead with 3 holes, and the other part is the end cap that shapes like the top of a gourd (or Hulu).
Guru beads are used as the head or end beads of all malas (prayer beads). They represent the divine, pure and eternal spirit of one's mind.
Usually they are supposed to be at least 2mm bigger than the mala beads.
I personally prefer guru beads to be at least 4mm bigger than the other beads.
